APS-DS3D

The DS3 from APsystems is the most powerful Dual Micro inverter for 1-phase grid connection. This device has an AC output power of up to 1800VA and is suitable for the most powerful panels for both residential and commercial PV roofs. The DS3 contains 2 input channels with low DC voltage, 2 MPPTs and Encrypted Zigbee Communication.

Before installing the APS-DS3D, check whether the mains voltage matches the nominal voltage of the microinverter. Then you wire the AC bus conductors and then attach the microinverter to the mounting system. The DS3 can be grounded using the attached grounding ring or copper wire. After this, connect the inverter to the AC bus cable and place the protective cap. Finally, the panels can be connected and the microinverter connected to the grid.

Extra information

• One microinverter for 4 solar panel modules
• Each channel connects 2 solar panel modules in series (for solar panel modules with Voc<60V)
• The 2 solar panel modules in series must achieve a total Voc within the operating voltage range as indicated in the datasheet.
• We recommend only using solar panel modules of the same brand and type when connecting them in series
• If the solar panel module already has a standalone Voc within the operating voltage range (i.e. solar panel modules with 96 cells), then only 1 solar panel module should be connected per DC input
• 2 input channels with independent MPPT
