SMA Sunny Boy SB 1.5

As a compact, lightweight inverter, the Sunny Boy 1.5 can be installed quickly and easily. Monitoring is easy both locally and online thanks to integrated software. Another plus is the shading management system Shadefix, formerly known as OptiTrac Global Peak. SMA also automatically monitors all connected inverters via SMA Smart Connected.

Easy and quick installation The Sunny Boy 1.5 has a compact design and weighs only 9 kg, making it an inverter that is quick and easy to install. For example, only two screws are required for installation and no additional mounting brackets are required. Installation is simple thanks to the integrated user interface, which can be accessed via smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop.

shadow repair Shadefix (formerly OptiTrac Global Peak) ensures that almost all of SMA's current inverters, including the Sunny Boy 1.5, function optimally even in lightly to moderately shaded environments. This is possible without additional components. Shadefix uses software to ensure the cells are kept in the shade so they are not affected by less productive cells.

SMA Smart Connect Once installed, the inverter activates SMA Smart Connected and is automatically monitored by SMA. Once an operational disruption is discovered, SMA will immediately notify affected parties. If replacement is required, the SMA will be automatically delivered within 1 to 3 days of error diagnosis.
